Backend Java Developer - Bilingual

Initial Requirements to Apply:

1️⃣ B2 English level or higher (interview process and daily work are 100% in English).

2️⃣ Must reside in Colombia and have legal permission to work in the country.

3️⃣ Professional experience in software engineering, especially building RESTful and event-driven applications with Java and Springboot.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Actively participate in the development of new projects and provide ongoing support.
• Ensure system quality, availability, and monitoring across environments.

Required Skills/ Experience:

💼 Java Backend Software Engineer

• Proficiency (5+ years) Java + Spring Framework, REST APIs.
• Experience with Kafka (or other messaging queue tools).
• Hands-on experience with AWS services like DynamoDB, Lambda, ElastiCache (Redis), etc., or equivalent cloud platforms.
• Monitoring tools like New Relic or SCOM (plus).
• Experience working in distributed infrastructure environments.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Contract type: Permanent (Contrato a término indefinido + beneficios).
• Direct contract in Colombia (not contractor).
• Salary: Depending on experience. Exp: 7+ years Up to $11'500.000 COP monthly
• Payment in COP.
